Writers, raconteurs, storytellers, scribblers---call us by any name, and we’ll still have this compulsive need to impart our tales to all who will read or listen. In this, my ninth book of such tales, there are more than forty stories and poems I’ve conjured while keeping company with the Pelican Pens group of talented writers in southwest Florida. This collection is selected from almost two hundred compositions I’ve shared with the Pens. The first three pieces in the book have won awards from writers’ organizations, including a first-place recognition from the Gulf Coast Writers Association for But He Didn’t!
