After spending my childhood used and abused, I learnt to keep people at a distance. After nearly losing my mind as a young adult, I learnt ways to keep the dead at a distance. My life depended on these things..... The last thing I expect to happen is a mysterious stranger to invade my nightmares, and act like I summoned him there. The thing is, he knows I'm not normal, because neither is he. When we meet for the first time while I'm actually awake, there is an all-consuming energy between us. He's becoming an addiction I can't shake, but there are two problems, he's hiding something from me, and he is not the only one I have this bond with, his best friends each have a different connection with me, and each one is sure to drive me insane…. again. And then there's my over friendly next-door neighbour, who I'm told has ulterior motives for trying to get close to me. All of a sudden my lonely life is full of people and I have no idea who to trust.
