A tale set in the late Eighties in a Northern England town. Similar to the current trending's of the 'County lines' phenomena, something that has been happening for millennia throughout the world. A broken soul, young, naive and gullible. Waysided by hanging out with the wrong sorts. Only on this occasion, once mired and swimming at great risk in the rough end of town, embroiled in alcohol and drugs, two hardened, savvy and flirting on the fringes of criminality characters wormed their way into his life. To the casual outsider this had all the hallmarks of a 'County lines' operation, unapproachable due to fear of reprisals or lack of evidences from these 'not to be messed with characters'. But life isn't always so simple. There was 'SOMETHING' drawing these people together. All had secrets too terrible to mention, yet the 'something' knew everything. Something ancient. Something from an immensity that was immeasurably larger than any human could codify in these present times. Without knowing the details, all three characters realising somehow that 'SOMETHING' was drawing them all together. Something that had it's connectives with their pasts, presents and futures. All, being drawn into a cosmic, multifarious and extremely dangerous chess-like set of machinations that could break and destroy their very lifes on their current plane. The 'SOMETHING'S' machinations was beginning to whir and take affect. A brutal story, utterly honest and a rare insight into this complex and somewhat undermined 'lowered' sector of the working classes. The language is real, the humour is dark, privy and universal. The situation very, very real, and one that cannot be shared with the public at large due to the nature of the supernatural evil forced upon them.
