"work in progress" is the mostly-truthful story of a girl making her way through the ups and downs of getting older. Jacinda's style combines fantasy with reality and blurs the lines so effortlessly that she will happily dare anyone who knows her personally to point out the half-truths. She's dark, sometimes funny, and writes as though she's talking to her closest friends. Or, as she says, she just types out the rambling nonsense that flits about in her mind which “sometimes turns into art, but usually just stays crap.”
