Apprentice Cruise

First novel in the Ryan Lee series ... Midshipman Ryan Lee completes his four-year course at the Fleet Academy but, before he can be commissioned, he must spend one year on active duty as an officer trainee on a Fleet vessel. His "Apprentice Cruise" takes place aboard FCSS Lovell, where Lee and classmates Joe Cafaro, Michelle Mayorga, and Everett Jefferson must show they are ready for a commission in the Fleet. During the cruise, an accident cripples the ship and the crew is lost in time. Lee finds himself in command and must master his own doubts to bring himself -- and his ship -- home.
