Hillbillies go to War! Amos Bible and Otis Stillwell are two young men angry that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. It mattered not that they had no earthly idea who or what the Japanese were or where Pearl Harbor was. They got mad…fighting mad so they lied about their age and joined the Army. “A Two Man Trio” is a work of fiction and nothing more than a product of my imagination. I placed my tongue firmly in cheek and began typing. I have, however, endeavored to be historically correct as far as dates and major events. When I mention a date of an invasion, it happened on that date. While there is nothing funny about war, this is a light-hearted view, as told by Otis Stillwell, about their training, advanced and specialized training and travels to Miami Florida, Washington DC, North Africa, Sicily, England and finally to Europe. Otis and Amos seemed to find themselves where the action was, before the action actually started.
