Three Irish immigrants arrive in America before the 1900's, find employment and raise their families in Rochester alongside Lake Ontario and beside the Genesee River and bisected by the Erie Canal in Upstate New York. The examples of their lives and lessons from their wisdom shape a large interrelated and extended family whose learned motivations and strivings work uncommon wonders in helping make it a better world than was even envisioned from the shores of the Irish Sea whence they came.
