Like sorting through a footlocker filled with old boots, Rickard pulls characters from his past who thrill, dismay, and sometimes shock, people who created dreams and schemes in a formative time and distinctive place, some became legends and others live only in this book.
Faces and Figures is a collection of Jack Rickard’s pastels, charcoal and pencil drawings, oils and acrylics, of characters he has known, photographed and painted, over the years. The artwork is accompanied by short epigraphs and prose.
All book profits will be donated to the Kingman Heritage Hall of Honor, Kingman, Kansas.
