The lineage of the Olympians is a complicated and manipulative one. It sets the standard for the expectations of every family thereafter. The Titans ate their children alive (literally), while the Olympians burdened theirs with unreachable expectations. The Gods made horrific monsters from their Divine flesh and Ichor, both beasts and demigods alike. Though not every mortal child was able to combat the faults of their parentage, some found a way to do so.
