The next day, he and his friends turn up to have a go in the gym. His friends are sceptical about the treadmill being a time machine, so he proves it to them by slow pacing them all back in time to 1982. Once there, they go exploring, return to the treadmill and slow pace home before it rains. Once back at the college, they go and tell the college Sports staff about it, and are told to keep away from it.
