The Cross Time Snacker

This novel is James’s first foray into the absurd but he makes up for that with this novel that will turn your world upside-down and have you asking yourself: “How much did I pay to read this piece of crap?” Fortunately, the answer can be nothing.The year is 2142 and time-travel exists but is only used to send food forward in time to when it will be consumed to save on refrigeration costs. This is true until one fateful Wednesday. Sam gets out of class half an hour early and unwilling to wait 45 minutes for his lunch he spends three days figuring out how he can get a sandwich to himself at 11:45. Sam and his closest friends go back in time to send a new sandwich; unfortunately they overshoot that morning by about 200 years and come face to face with a serial murderer with trained bears. Since the novel is over 200 pages it is no spoiler that they escape the bears to jump back forward in time where they face underwater monsters, Dutch speaking soldiers and even Satan before it is all over.
