Five Star Banquet is a collection of 5 comic strip series by cartoonist James Mar. The comic titles are as follows: Animal Time, The Ma Family, Instant Kung Fu Girl, Bryan and Anita, and Johnny "Dai" Goh. The genres range from humor to romance. "Animal Time" was James' first foray into comic strips and, at the time, was run in USC's Daily Trojan. The rest of the comic strips are influenced by James' Chinese heritage.
