Tucker Knox has already seen the worst that life can offer as he heads home to Michigan after a tour in Vietnam, but there's a new kind of war raging on the streets around Detroit in 1970. Tucker soon discovers a whole new subculture of street racing in the flashy, high-octane machines that "make the scene" on and around the legendary Woodward Avenue. From Detroit's, 8-Mile to the Pontiac Loop, along Gratiot Avenue and along I-75 and its side strips, the throngs of 60s and 70s musclecars square-off for nightly duels.
