The Hebraic Roots Commentary is intended as a companion to the Hebraic Roots Version (HRV) New Testament. During the process of creating the footnotes for the Hebraic Roots Version, It was determined to include many comments because they were more of an interpretive than a linguistic nature. These comments needed to be published, but were not appropriately placed in the footnotes of the translation itself thus it was determined to incorporate these comments into companion commentary. The Hebraic Roots Commentary is the first New Testament Commentary to apply Jewish Hermeneutics to the original Hebrew and Aramaic text of the Four Gospels. The commentary also interprets the Gospels in light of cultural and historical information drawn from the Dead Sea Scrolls, Rabbinic literature (including the Targums, the Mishna, the Talmuds, the Midrashim, the Zohar etc.), Josephus, Philo etc..
