The Monkey At The Park

This is a bedtime story I often tell to my daughter. "The Monkey in the Park" is one of two versions, the other being "The Cow in the Park". This story grew out of my daughter's world when she was 18-24 months old. She was learning her animals and the sounds they make. She loved going to the park with her mommy and daddy. And she was learning to ask her mommy and daddy for help. The repetitiveness and symmetry of the two versions helped her learn some useful concepts like over, under, push, pull, back and forth.
