Many philosophers both great and small have struggled between the duality of light and darkness. Chinese philosophers have the concept of Yin and Yang. The bible introduces us to the knowledge of good and evil. Jungian psychology describes the shadow self of man, a repressed unconscious aspect of our personality that is deemed undesirable and disowned. Perhaps our awakened self, the one that lives in light is the one that is a true representation of our form. We get to make him or her or it in our own image. Yet, there’s someone else who emotes our way. This book is a collection of poems written from amuch deeper perspective – the daimonic voice. These words are not of the prince in his castle, but of the muddy boy hiding in a dark forest. Who may be the true meaning of this man?
