Brazen: A Novel

Brennan Frick is a budding journalist with lofty dreams... and big problems. He lands a job at a small-time paper in Biloxi, and what promises to be his launchpad story winds up landing him in the middle of a sordid triangle: the mafia, an elected official, and a Vietnamese transsexual. When Brennan decides to run, it will be too late to do so with impunity.

 Brazen is as introspective as it is zany. The characters Brennan meets, though with their quirks, all play a role in his twenty-something journey of self-discovery. This is the chapter of life following the "coming of age" story -- the "what the hell do I do now?" story.
