A humourous account of a Mothers decision to move her family from a comfortable existence in a large house on the edge of town, to a rural life in a pretty little cottage with a vegetable patch and roses round the door. The countryside may be a desirable place to bring up healthy and happy children with bats in the roof and chickens in the garden, but it all goes very wrong when someone else wants the cottage and a desperate decision is made to borrow money to buy it. There is then a real chance of financial ruin when savings start to run out and the town house won’t sell. If only money grew on trees.
