Eyes Open

Jeana Renee Rand is a native Chicagoan and a first time author. She holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from California College for Health Sciences in Salt Lake City, Utah and owns a successful daycare center. Jeana is a very creative, innovative and imaginative person, who revels in her solitude. She finds her serenity in nature during long walks in the park and in her peaceful daydreams. Eyes Open speaks in part about a very important segment of her life’s journey. An incredibly spiritual person, Jeana says that writing this book has been a humbling experience for her and she designates it to be her time capsule entry, to remain long after her years. Jeana is also a poet and will be publishing many of her poems in the fall of 2011. Jeana is married to her Mr. Wonderful, Michael Rand and is the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Michael, Jr. and James.
