Arbitrary Still

One roll of thirty five millimeter, twenty four exposure, color negative film was shot. A set of twenty four words was written. The film was developed and the words where written onto the negatives in order. The text and image relationship is arbitrary but inherently linked. The book acts as a critique of a seemingly opposing and interconnected relationship between illusion and replication in photography. This conceptual approach to photography is reminiscent of Jeff Eaton's anti-Pictorialist attitude.
