Dexter Levin is a security guard for his odious step-father's terrible department store. He preferred to keep his nose in a book, but he is forced to take notice when a woman is kidnapped through a dressing room mirror. Instead of running away from another problem, he turns and faces this one head on. He rushes through to try and save her. On the other side, he is faced with gods and monsters. The tide of enemies threatens to wash him away, but he receives help in the form of his reflection, a man named Dex. Where Dexter is pudgy, shy, and no hero, Dex is lean, bold, and a master swordsman. Together they fight against the insane gods of Aethero. Not only to save the lives of the women they love, but also to face down the gods that would control the world through perception.
