Father Tabb

Jennie M. Tabb's biography of her uncle, Roman Catholic Priest, College professor and poet, Father John Bannister Tabb. Tabb, orgininally from Amelia County, Virginia, served in the Confederate Navy, and after the war, converted to Catholicism, became a priest, an educator in Ellicott City, Maryland, and at the time renowed poet.
