In Her Own Time

Mallory Simms thought she had it all-a passion-filled marriage to a handsome and successful entrepreneur, adorable twin daughters, and a privileged lifestyle in San Francisco. The novel begins as Mallory’s seemingly charmed existence ends abruptly when her husband Peter is killed and she discovers that his illicit business dealings have bankrupted them. Mallory is forced to sell her home and possessions and must quickly rekindle her career as an abstract painter to get by. Reeling from the lies that had permeated her marriage, she decides to shun men entirely. Despite her resolve, however, Mallory soon has two powerful and charismatic men avidly pursuing her and testing her planned independence.
