Into the Gray Unknown

Jerry awakens in what would appear to be a state of alienation and as time progresses or so it may appear; artefacts of remembrance start to come back as to who he is. During this time a figure or "image" of a beautiful woman appears. At first sight he is drawn to her but is reluctant. Can she lead him back to recollection of "what once is" if he gets to know her would he do the same for her? Elsewhere in a different "realm": Leonard, a doctor in an experimental neuro-science practice finds himself observing the livelihood of a couple; all the while questioning his very sense of identity, desires & purpose. He yearns for a romantic receptionist that he works with but has questions about love. What is it? What does it mean? The value and if it can exist in such a time?
