Self-identity makes up our individuality. We establish our identity from awareness, which causes us to create a unique individual. It is our sense of being one, and the quality of self. The self is parts of our traits that comprise our identity, yet one must fully develop to find his self-identity. Society factors into our development, since often influences mislead us. For this reason, one must learn on his own knowledge, experiences and so forth to discover his self-identity. Of course, an entity must learn something new often to find truths and abandon the many misconceptions that the mind instilled during the processes of learning from external teachers.
We have inner strengths that we must use to develop self and free the mind of misconceptions put on us by society teaching. We must recognize truth by using logic and rationale thinking to decide what is right for us.
