The altar is the place where the spirit in man will meet and fellowship with the Spirit of God. It has always been God’s desire to commune with man and like a loving husband, He says in Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, let us reason together…” In the book of Genesis, the Bible shows us that God used to come to the man during the cool of the day. This reflects the desire of God, who is Spirit, to commune with man, who is spirit.
