
"interrupted" is a collection of 36 poems exploring the complexities of life thru the eyes of a sixteen-year-old girl. The author explores her own, as well as others, struggles with growing up, sex, romance, friendship, family, and society. The style of poems ranges from contemporary to experimental, with daring yet striking imagery. In each poem, there is constant honesty and emotion, whether the subject matter is sex, anorexia, love, divorce, or drug addiction.
