Virgil: The Superhero Tale

Virgil is a loner for a reason: he was stripped of his superhero status due to his violent tendencies and banished to his hometown to live out his days in the most humdrum way imaginable. His days are now filled with TV dinners, a data entry job, and no friends. But a young girl's scream next door reawakens the hero inside him and he realizes that he can no longer abide by the agreement he made with authorities. With no powers and a girl to protect, he sets out on a dangerous mission of reclaiming his former glory, even if it kills him, as the city's lone vigilante. Unfortunately, no one is who they seem and it's only a matter of time before he learns that every action he has taken in his life has consequences, and they're all about to catch up with him.
