Everyone knows that experience helps shape who we become. But the process can often be a trial by fire. My intention in these poems is to unravel that trial and bring to light some of my darkest, sweetest, and simplest experiences which have defined and refined me. This edition is a collection of personal free verse poetry and short fiction centering on life experience, loss, love, and the possibilities of dreams. Each of us has a story to tell...this is my first story.
