This short story takes us through Elizabeth Jones plight to find herself. Reeling from the loss of her father and her inheritance, Elizabeth is comforted by her childhood friend and artist, Ian. Ian wants to paint Elizabeth's portrait and not only shows her how beautiful she is but he realizes it himself and must have her. But will life allow him to have his Elizabeth.
