While billions had met their fiery end at the hand of Regnum, pockets of humanity persisted in geographic areas and facilities not devastated by the mighty firestorms that had consumed cities and entire countries. Despite that devastation the remnant of governments would enact legislation like the Humanity Act to keep civilization marching forward and relevant against the Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Botfly Monopoly protocol, and the Tart'aas would utilize one of their greatest achievements, the Phaobin Generator, to once again move the entire planet beyond the path of the Sun's returning twin. Through the actions taken by Janus, the first A.I. nearing its next evolutionary milesone - abiogenesis - and its construction of Sky Jump within the Realm, General Lowinsky would use its capability to access parallel dimensions to wage war against the Serpqhtaq. Under Operation Javelin Janus, Mac and Lionak would race through interstellar space aboard the Ovi-Tholus to project humanity's might against the Serpqhtaq fleet and infiltrate the alien's home system. Unknowingly, they would also begin unlocking seals of a cross-dimensional artifact found in the Realm called the Davidfree Key.
