I have a gadget guy for a husband. He's wonderful and bought me an iPad for Christmas. After much bantering and being picked on for using it almost entirely as a kindle, instead of using it for all its other features. Which I must say I'm slowly getting to, but hey, when you live abroad and you don't have to wait an eternity for books you order to arrive, I am loving E reading.
Now I'm ranting. Our kids are 4 and beginning to read. They have both mastered level 1 sight words, so I thought how nifty it would be if I make them a book about themselves.
And well Joey's Insane Bookstore started from there.
