For the purposes of our contemplation, this three section series of meditations are a sample of the key teaching points Paul focused on as he led Timothy into his own spiritual education and development. Like much of Paul's correspondence of that time, they serve us well today as useful fodder for the Holy Spirit to enliven them into the practical means of our own Christian matriculation as His disciples. They are the essence of virtue and wholeness for anyone in ministry today, whether as a pastor, elder, deacon or adherent in the multi-generational family of God.
