In this book Freedom , I am going to be sharing a true life story of Dan who ended up at Toronto Detention Center (TED) in Ontario, Canada . He was faced with a stark reality of the prison system as a novice who had never been locked up before . We will see that he was able to do his time without been hurt or influenced by the attitude of other inmates .
The book exposes the attitude of people held in detention
centers, jails or prisons and those of the correction officers who guard them . It reflect the resentment and the distrust that exist
> between the two and highlight t the danger it poses for those who are
housed in such facility. lt shows that if such attitude are absorbed ,
it can transcend above the four corners of the prison system to make an individual for the rest of their lives.
One can see why the society should apply other means of punishment for violators of the law rather incarceration.
