After a promising career start at a large market radio station, Larry Jakowski finds himself out of a job and a place to live. Forced to move back to Indiana and his parent's basement, Jakowski reunites with his loser friend, Odus Tibbs.
Larry soon meets Abigail Pullman, a beautiful, ultra-ambitious and cunning television news reporter.
Larry and Abigail soon become obsessed with each other and stumble onto a story so depraved and vicious that they soon find that everything they believed in has been turned upside down.
Forget pride, these small town stars are a step below circus clowns on the celebrity food chain, and they will do ANYTHING to work in the business.
Dark, irreverent and very funny, A White Trash Tragedy is a classic satire that chronicles the lives of small town celebrities and the desperate acts they take to keep their dreams alive.
