Intolerant Us is a book about the social structure of humans. It extrapolates data from the species physical need for survival and explores how that need molds our mental world.
We enter the world in a protective environment that is surrounded with the protection of older humans. This is our tribe. But our tribe is much more than this. We are encased in concentric tribes expanding outward from our inner tribe. These tribes are made up of a multitude of other entwining tribes that reach out with great connecting power. We have membership in many tribes. Each holds significant meaning with strings that control our behavior.
