A luxury sailboat goes down off the coast of a Japanese island, leaving alive only a small baby boy. Raised by monks in a hidden temple, the boy with no name grows to manhood. His adopted Father, the Master Monk searches and find the boy has a family, in far off Boston, a grandmother in America, and she wants him to return. The boy become a man, David Ferguson, begins a journey to the family he thought lost to him. His return opens a new page in his life, and may end it, for his presence alters long laid plans, and murder is not too big a step for those who want him dead. To protect his grandmother and the woman he loves, he must use an ancient assassin’s martial arts technique, the 'Kasairyuu' (stone wind) named after the devastating pyroclastic explosions of a volcano. It gives the user deadly power and speed, but only for a short time. David Ferguson must protect those he loves at any cost, maybe even with his own life.
