The Trouble with Imps

Imps, the deep woods folks, small and illusive folks, Good of heart and lovers of the woods they called home. Then, an Imp called Mer’ik Shandar Fillis, or simply Mer’ik, an adventurous fellow quite innocently, (well almost innocently), got into mischief in the City of Five Cliffs, and needed a ride out of town rather quickly. His journey would take him across many Kingdoms, and along the way he would become a cook, a horse handler, a junior merchant, a dogged and a surprisingly fierce swordsman, and befriend a King and fights a death dual for him. From a rather free-spirited adventurer to a true Knight of the Realm, and that was just the start of his adventure, changing many minds about Imps, including their own!
