Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The third and final volume in the White Star Line 'What if..?' saga. It is July, 1940 and the maritime world is preparing to celebrate one-hundred years of scheduled steam navigation. A trade group styling itself the Atlantic Transport Alliance has organized an amazing multi-ship crossing of passenger vessels. This 'Grand Convoy' will include the new BRITANNIA of Cunard Line, as well as all three of White Star's super-ships; OCEANIC, HOMERIC and HEROIC. Other firms, large and small, will also participate. Despite instructions to the contrary, the volatile Robert Holloway, captain of United American Line's revolutionary YANKEE CLIPPER, on her maiden voyage, is determined to make the crossing less of a procession and more of a race. At its conclusion, the ATA will bestow a token of recognition upon one member of this remarkable flotilla. The world is watching to see what ship and captain will claim the new symbol of supremacy on the high-seas; a banner to be known as the ATLANTIC COLOURS.
