Half-Hours with Isaiah

First issued in 1915, this superb devotional commentary comprises a paraphrase of each section of the prophecy of Isaiah arrived at after a careful analysis of all the major interpretive issues. Wiles gives due weight to historic fulfilments, sees much of Christ, and unfailingly draws the application, encouragement and challenge of the prophecy to the Gospel age. Joseph Pitts Wiles was formerly Foundation Scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge and died in 1929.
