WHEN EVERYONE LOVES ME BUT I STILL FEEL EMPTY

Many youth, and even adults, don’t realize they’re chasing approval until it becomes the very thing feeding their emptiness. They start off confident, but slowly, their worth becomes dependent on how others respond to them. Applause becomes the meal. Affirmation becomes oxygen. Without it, they feel invisible. The problem is not that people love them—it’s that they no longer know how to live without that love. And when the applause stops, identity collapses.
