Drugstore Sushi

In Joseph Reich's most recent work, "Drugstore Sushi," the author attempts to express and articulate what it feels like to be constantly alienated and displaced; The poet is successful in writing about feeling disenfranchised and failing to belong or connect or engage. Or even, for that matter, relate, within a contemporary, absurd, and insular suburban landscape, composed of those selfsame, pre-manufactured, lost and homogenized structures and images, as well as its brainwashed characters. A grand ignorant disconnect is present which keeps him at a constant and continual distance.
