A ship in the year 1756 is sailing around the coast of Africa. A Frenchman on the voyage warns of a mysterious place where there is no winds. When the boat comes to that place, they are stranded for many weeks as the men are driven to insanity. Natives from the country Rio Muni warn they are doomed but a small breeze is coming, but they must lighten their load. Will they be able to decide what to throw overboard? Will anyone survive?
