Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This translation by Stephen W. White, 1874, is one of the earliest and best translations. The text is fully illustrated with all of the original Victorian engravings, complemented by an extensive introduction to the publication history by Norman Wolcott, a lexical analysis by Kieran O'Driscoll, D.Phil., a biography of the translator, and the last published work by Stephen W. White, a lecture to the Central High School Class of Philadelphia in 1905 on the benefits of the study of phonography. This is the only fully illustrated edition of this most popular work of Jules Verne. An errata section contains several recently discovered paragraphs which were deleted from all 19th century reprint editions of the book.
