Anesthesia Case Log Journal

A blank notebook designed for tracking anesthesia cases for veterinary technicians. Tracking your cases can help determine your own strengths and weaknesses, and find ways to improve patient care in future cases. Every patient is unique and no two anesthesia events will be identical - but understanding what factors went into developing a specific plan can help you be successful and build confidence for future cases. This is not a substitute for an anesthesia monitoring log, but rather a way to reflect upon each event. Each page has space to work out your ideas for drug protocol based on the patient's unique situation, what challenges you may need to consider, thoughts you may have encountered during and after a procedure, and what ideas you have to take with you for the next case. Think about what went well, what you might have done differently, how the patient recovered, and how you felt throughout the procedure. Whether new in the field or a seasoned technician, recording your anesthesia and sedation events helps to keep you growing.
