Twisting in The Hands of Time

My name is Pat. I was born in Chicago Ilinois, to a scitzophrenic father and a dependant mother. I grew up with an older and a younger sister, on the fringe of gangs who were prolific in the city. Being accused of mutilating my high school sweetheart and our house being surrounded by his brothers gangs, who showed guns, my parents moved us to Jasper Illinois. Married at sixteen and forced to have an abortion at sixteen, abused physically and mentally, life started to go downhill for me. I followed my husband when he enrolled in the Navy to California, and on to Italy, where the abuse got worse. I came back to Jasper Alabama with my two children, where drugs, murder, and abuse was considered normal. Divorce did not improve my status. My second marriage took me spiraling down into the drug infested world of strip joints, gangs and eventually prison. Redemption came at a price. This fast moving story is based on fact.
