Girl Band

Nesta is a frog of a singer. Daphne has been assigned the duty of kicking her out of the all-girl band, The Etta Candys. But kicking Nesta out is a hard job, especially since Daphne is starting to like Nesta and to wonder if Nesta is really the problem. The Etta Candys live for rock ‘n’ roll, but things are starting to change. As they struggle through their last years of high school, Daphne and the girls have to figure out how to get a decent gig, how to deal with boy groupies, how to pass History class, and how to keep a band together when the members are slowly growing apart. As Daphne falls in love with her once sworn enemy, Dustin Davies, she re-evaluates the friendships she has with the girls in her band. Eventually, she has to decide whether being in a rock band is what she’s cut out to do. GIRL BAND is a fun look at a group of girls who insist that life is about standing on stage, not on the sidelines.
