A Foster Carers Guide

Throughout my experience of foster care, I have come to know that there are many foster carers out there that are only interested in the financial gain of what a foster child can bring for them, and as a result of that find themselves neglecting the holistic needs of a child unknowingly. I have witnessed so many passionless carers that perceive their child as a threat and because of this they have then failed to see the potential within that child and as a result of this have given up.The reason why I created this handbook was to provide foster carers with a framework that could act as a basis for them to follow with the intention to positively influence their role as a foster carer.
