Initiation into the Secrets

Bryan, a young Londoner with a penchant for sensuality, stands shivering and naked in the baths of a seemingly obscure town in Eastern Turkey. His clothes have been stolen. It is 1977 and Bryan is traveling the overland trail to India in the era just before the Islamic revolution in Iran and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Bryan meets a mysterious American of Armenian origin, Van Bedros, and together they pursue the thief. Soon Bryan is embroiled in an adventure full of danger, humiliation and intrigue while at the same time grappling with his own impulses.
