Partly derived from memory, partly imagination, this collection of existential poems explores modern life.

"Forward"
I should say what this is about:
“Being in your twenties,
when you possibly smoke too many cigarettes,
drink one or two more pints of whatever
in too many bars
buy ridiculous clothes to express your niche
or scene or preferred era,
style your hair in weird ways,
snog all your friends during the witching hour
and go to shows based on the opening act,
make love in elevators overlooking the river through the city,
occasionally starve
and never say quite what you're thinking
because nobody ever asked
for you to tell 'em something pretty.”
